At Made for Change, we take pride in producing high-quality, small-batch chilli achar. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.
This policy operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
Australian Consumer Law
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund if a product:

Is faulty or unsafe

Is significantly different from its description

Does not do what we said it would do
If you believe your product meets one of these criteria, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.
To lodge a claim, email madeforchangeau@gmail.com with:

Your order number

A description of the issue

A clear photo of the product

A clear photo of the best-before date
We will assess your claim and respond as soon as possible.
Change of Mind
Because our products are food items with best-before dates, we are limited in what we can accept for return.
Before Dispatch
If you change your mind before your order has been dispatched, you will receive a full refund.
After Dispatch (Unopened Only)
If your order has been dispatched, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery to request a return.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:

The jar must be unopened

The tamper-evident seal must remain intact

The product must be in its original condition
Returned items must be received before a refund is processed.
Shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
Delivery Issues & Missing Items
Once your parcel has been handed to Australia Post in good condition, delivery responsibility transfers to the carrier.
If your parcel is delayed, lost, marked as delivered but not received, or damaged in transit, please lodge an enquiry directly with Australia Post using your tracking number before contacting us.
If you believe an item is missing from your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:

A clear photo of all items received

A clear photo of the packaging (including outer box)
We are unable to process claims without photographic evidence.
Returned or Unclaimed Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us due to:

Incorrect address
-
Failed delivery attempts
-
Parcel not collected
We will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional shipping fees will apply.
If we do not receive instructions within 30 days, the order may be considered void.
